Ropes – Level I and above, Sue at Artemis

Taught by Sue Gormley. Suitable for students with a basic understanding of yoga, this class will use the wall ropes to assist us in our yoga poses bringing a sense of play to the practice. Known as Yoga Kurunta (a Kurunta is a puppet) and students literally use the ropes as if they were a puppet on a string – it is a lot of fun! You will learn how to use the ropes to support and hold postures to gain greater mobility and flexibility in all parts of the body, releasing tension and stiffness. Many students find that the wall ropes can help guide the alignment of pose more clearly.
